The 2006-2007 Exultate Concert Season
Our 11th Year
Clear your calendar for wonderful music!
- Chamber Classics
(Chamber Classics concerts are now completed - join us at a future performance.)
Exultate celebrates the 250th birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with several works for chorus and orchestra. We also will invite the
2006 Minnesota All-State Lutheran Choir to perform on the concert. This fabulous High School Choir is the summer youth program of Exultate.
They had a stellar concert tour of 14 performances during June so we have invited them to gather again and bring their fine
singing to the Exultate stage. They will perform several wonderful selections and then join the professional singers and orchestra
in what will be a memorable and moving performance of Mendelssohn's Psalm 42, a must hear event.
The concert also includes choral works by Bruckner, Morley, Palestrina, Buxtehude, Busarow and others. A special appearance by
Wolfgang himself will be a thrilling addition.
- Tidings of Joy - Christmas Festival

We are very excited about this project. With the addition of more singers and instrumentalists we will be performing a large choral work created by combining movements from several works.
Included will be movements from Johann Sebastian Bach's Mass in B Minor, Magnificat and St. Matthew Passion,
Johannes Brahms' Requiem, George Frederick Handel's Messiah, Felix Mendelssohn's Elijah, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem.
