Bach Project 2002
In March 2002, Exultate presented not only the wonderful music of the B-Minor Mass, but made available for viewing a Bible that was actually owned by J. S. Bach himself. His own notes in the margins lend a fascinating window into the man's faith and genius. Dr. Thomas Rossin, Exultate's founder and conductor and an expert on the Bible, held pre-concert lectures about the various notations throughout the Bible, insight into the mathematics of Bach's compositions and other interesting facts about the Mass itself. The Bible was on display for all concert-goers to see first hand and up close.
