2010-2011 EXULTATE AUDITIONS
Auditions for the 2010-2011 Concert Season are in progress now. There are openings in all sections.
Please call the Exultate office at 651-707-0727 to schedule a time. Auditions will be by appointment and held during the week from May 17-21, 2010 or by other arrangement.
Exultate is always looking for excellent singers and instrumentalists to join us. If you are interested in auditioning or know someone who might be, please contact us.
The choir and orchestra are open to any fine musician interested in committing time and energies to accomplishing high standards
and a high level of music making.
Time Commitment
Exultate Chamber Choir rehearses each week on Thursday evenings 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. from September through May.

Exultate Chamber Orchestra meets on Thursday evenings 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. from September through May. (Not every Thursday -
see specific dates on the schedule.)

(The 2010-2011 schedule will be very similar and will be posted towards the end of May, 2009.)
Audition Requirements
Singers: Musicality, sightsinging, vowel production, memory and vocal agility are tested through the use of musical examples, exercises and vocal scales. No prepared solo is required. Auditions last approximately 15 minutes.
Instrumentalists: Musicality, instrumental technique and mastery of the instrument are investigated through the use of two prepared solos in contrasting styles (accompanist provided). A personal interview is included in the audition process. Auditions last approximately 20 minutes.
