FESTIVAL CHOIR PROJECT 2007
Concerts - March 2, 3 & 4, 2007

EMMANUEL - with us - for us - in us

We are very excited about this unique project. With the addition of more singers and instrumentalists we will be performing a large choral work, entitled 'EMMANUEL' and created by combining movements from several works. Included will be movements from Johann Sebastian Bach's Mass in B Minor, Magnificat and St. Matthew Passion, Johannes Brahms' Requiem, George Frederick Handel's Messiah, Felix Mendelssohn's Elijah, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem. Join us for an unforgetable performance!

Good choral singers are needed to join the professional chamber choir and orchestra of Exultate in this exciting project. This is your chance to perform these marvelous works as well as create a wonderful professional recording of this "new" piece.

Your commitment is to attend six rehearsals and three concerts. Participant fee will be $25.00 which includes the rental fee for a choral score.

  • Saturday, March 3, 2007 - 7:30 PM - Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church, Minneapolis
  • Sunday, March 4, 2007 - 4:00 PM - Bethel College - Benson Great Hall, Roseville

  2007 FESTIVAL CHOIR AUDITIONS

  Auditions - 5 minutes and "painless" - (no solo literature required - good choral singing a must) Tuesday, January 16, 2007 - 6-10 p.m. - Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Mpls Call the Exultate office after Christmas at 651-707-0727 to sign up for an audition time.
